So Many Network Marketing Companies. Which One For You?Looking For The Best MLM Company? After doing absolutely no research on Network Marketing Companies, over 100,000 people join a home-based business each week. Most fail to reach their goals because they treat it like another job instead of a business. Whether you want to earn a massive income or part-time cash, whether you want to build a business as big as a high rise building, or a modest town house, you have to lay the best foundations by doing your due diligence. Here is a ten-point checklist that I believe you should put any Network Marketing Companies through before you sign up - and the full reasons why. Recent company management MLM downline experienceCompany management should have recent MLM downline experience or they'll have no idea what it is that you have to do to build your business and their business. I say 'recently' because if their experience is even 10 years ago, something massive has happened to MLM since then - the internet. They need to be able to support you in getting the best from this new world - see the last point. There should also be solid corporate experience in the management team to cover all bases. Is the company public or privately owned? There has been a rush of owners launching their private Network Marketing Companies onto the public stock exchanges. If the company is publicly owned rather than privately, their first responsibility is to their shareholders, not you, In fact, they are legally required to place the owners first. If they need more money for the shareholders, it will come from the distributors. Operating for at least 2 yearsThey should be operating for at least two years. 95% of Network Marketing Companies go broke in that first two years. Nearly all the big earners join after 2 years. Take the hint. Operating in the USA and one other countrySure they can make it at home with hands-on control but do they have a corporate system that allows them and you to expand? A remarkable productThe product should be remarkable. It doesn't have to be unique or patented, it just needs to be remarkable. I have also seen businesses survive with me-too products. For capturing the customers attention though, it is far better to have remarkable a product. In-demand real productYou may be convinced that the product is fantastic but are there hoards of people who are clamouring for it? If not, you will have to chase them and convince them - back to door-to-door. Yuck. Would you buy the product at retail if there was no business attached? Here is the first price check. Would you buy that product, at retail, if there was no business attached. If you wont, no one else will. If all you have is wholesale customers, consider this. Who is more excited about their car purchase - the owner of a compact at trade price or the driver of a luxury car? Your retail customers will generally be better and more passionate advocates of your products than wholesale 'preferred' customers Product has a 25% - 35% retail mark-upThe product should also have a 25-35% mark-up for retail or it's a waste of time, no one will ever retail it, and that is absolutely necessary for those people who are part-time. Some plans allow only 8% retail mark-up and the distributor lines are clogged with unmotivated people. Low mark-up is also a sign that the retail price is too high. The compensation plan pays part-time membersThe compensation plan must pay part-timers, they are 97% of your team. If most of your team are part-time, they must get a part-time income or they will quit. Wouldn't you? Company has, or allows you to use, a system that utilises modern internet marketing methodsAnd lastly the company has to have, or allow you to use, a system that utilises modern internet marketing methods, if you're stuck with just talking to your brother-in-law, you'll never build a business. Unless the people around you ask, leave them alone. There are plenty of people who are interested. You just need a system that will find them. Believe it or not, almost all Network Marketing Companies have no system - in spite of what they say, however there are some very good generic systems out there and the worst Companies will prohibit you from using them. Crazy. These 10 points are covered (with bonuses) in DCTB - What you should know before you sign up with any Network Marketing Companies. If you use this Ten Point Checklist as a way of interviewing your possible joint venture partner, the company, you will be approaching things with the correct business attitude and you will likely find the best MLM company for you. If they pass the test, the rest is up to you. network marketing companies |
