The Right MLM Products for your Business

But... Does anybody want them?

'I did not know there were so many MLM products that I didn't need', was the comment of one of my mentors who had researched many MLMs.

I get pitched every now and again by someone who tells me that all I have to do is replace my regular shopping with his company's high quality products - save on what I spend and get a bonus on what others spend.

Nice idea but I don't buy the things that he has on offer.

You may be surprised at what you and I don't need, or care about.

Quality Products

Most MLM products are better than average. Where it falls down is when they are not proprietary, remarkable or if people are not screaming for them.

Some companies start out with one great product, say an antioxidant juice or long distance phone and the next thing they are pushing the greatest vitamin in the world or computers.

They may have developed the original product but the second, add-on product is often produced by someone else and may become available in dollar stores.

You don't have to 'believe in the product' but find a Product that people are screaming for and...

Fall in love with that

My Mum came from a simple rural background. When I was 5 she got polio and spent the rest of her life in a wheelchair. There was a big change when I was around 17. She always had an interest in home hobby crafts, so she opened a shop locally to pursue her passion.

People would come and ask her for macrame supplies. Mum never carried them because 'I don't like macrame'. So no macrame.

My Mum blossomed in the shop but it was always subsidised by my Dad's business. Don't let that happen to your MLM business. My Dad won't bail you out.

'Late in the market' products

An example of this is technical products. They are usually expensive now, cheap next year and free the year after. You can't build a business with that. Choose MLM products that are always in demand.
