More MLM Lies

And Mis-directions Too

I am amazed at the stream of porky pies - lies- told about MLM. I am sure most people telling them are not setting out to mislead. They just don't know, don't think it through and repeat what they have been told. Their sincerity makes them and the fib all the more believable.

Spotting these fibs has become a hobby for me. When you make a game of spotting them, they can be great fun. Here are some more that I have found.

Rhyming Slang

Porky Pies is Cockney rhyming slang for lies. Other examples are Whistle and Toot for suit or Trouble and Strife for wife

There is a serious side to this as well. To succeed in MLM you need to be able to tell when you are being led astray.

As a parent, we develop a good sense when our kids don't answer our questions and so, are not mislead.

For example. 'What time will you be home?' The answer comes back, 'I'll be coming home with Susie'.

The answer you were looking for was a number, followed by o'clock. If you accept anything else, you are being misdirected.

When coaching, you will need this skill as well. Start practising now to get your MLM questions answered.

Here are more lies and myths common in the MLM industry. To get into the spirit of things, I will give a lollipop for each contribution that ends up on this page of MLM Lies.
